Sandra Williams
Sandra Williams has been a Firearms Instructor since 2013 and a CORE Instructor since 2015. Between 2008 and 2013, she helped Ron with the PAL Courses. She fired her first firearm when she was in high school and has been hooked ever since.
She has attended various Black Powder Rendezvous over the last 10 years and has won Top Mountain Woman on two occasions. Sandra is also a Distinguished Graduate of the 4-day defensive handgun course at Front Sight.
Sandra currently administers the CORE exam.
Ron Johnston, P. Eng.
Ron Johnston started shooting as a teenager while living on the family farm. In order to become a better shot for hunting, he entered the competitive shooting world in Bench Rest Rifle shooting. He progressed through the years and eventually set several Canadian and International records. From rifle, he moved to pistol shooting (including air guns, rimfire, and center fire) and participated in the BC games. Lately, he has taken up muzzle loading Black Powder shooting and has entered many of the fun competitions that are held throughout BC. He has placed in the top three in many of these shooting competitions over the last few years.
Since 1995, Ron has taught the Canadian Firearms Safety Course to individuals who are interested in obtaining their own firearms. He also teaches handgun and rifle shooting..
